Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Translate PDF Online at www.translatepdfonline.com (the “Service”), operated by the team behind Translate PDF Online (“we”, “us”).

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

One-time credits: Since our service consumes AI computing resources immediately upon use, top-up credits are non-refundable once the translation process has been initiated.

Subscriptions: You may cancel your Monthly, Quarterly, 6-month, or Yearly subscription at any time through your billing dashboard (Settings → Billing). Upon cancellation, you retain access to subscription credits until the end of the current billing period.

Refunds: Refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis (for example, technical failure of the Service). Please contact support within 7 days of purchase for such requests.

Payment Security

All transactions are securely handled by our authorized payment processor, Creem. We do not store your full credit card information on our servers.

Description of the Service

The Service provides online PDF translation and related features (preview, comparison, downloads, optional area selection, etc.). Output quality, layout preservation, and supported languages depend on document complexity and our pipeline configuration. The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

Accounts

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly at hello@translatepdfonline.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Upload unlawful content, malware, or material that infringes third-party rights
Attempt to probe, disrupt, or bypass security or rate limits
Scrape, resell, or automate access in a way that harms the Service or other users
Use the Service to build a competing service by systematically extracting our UI, APIs, or documentation in violation of applicable law or these Terms

We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

Your content

You retain rights to PDFs you upload. You grant us a limited license to host, process, translate, store, and transmit your files solely to provide the Service, including storage on Cloudflare R2 and processing by our workers and AI providers (e.g. DeepSeek) as described in the Privacy Policy.

You represent that you have the right to upload and process the documents you submit.

Credits, subscriptions, and pricing

Credits and subscription plans are described on the pricing page and may change with notice (e.g. updated pricing or in-app notice).
Fees are charged through Creem (or as shown at checkout). Taxes may apply per your jurisdiction.
Refunds and cancellation are governed by Refund & Cancellation Policy under Contact, refunds, and payment processing above. Mandatory consumer rights in your jurisdiction still apply where they cannot be waived.

Payment processing

Payments are processed by Creem. Their terms and privacy practices apply to the payment step. We are not responsible for Creem’s systems beyond reasonable cooperation to resolve disputes. We do not store full card numbers on our servers (see Payment Security above).

Data retention

Translated files and related objects in storage are subject to automatic deletion after approximately seven (7) days as described in the Privacy Policy, unless law requires otherwise.

Intellectual property

The Service, its software (except open-source components under their own licenses), branding, and documentation are protected by intellectual property laws. Open-source components (e.g. pdf2zh / BabelDOC ecosystem) remain under their respective licenses; see our documentation for attribution and AGPL transparency.

Disclaimer of warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (USD 50), EXCEPT WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE LIMITED BY LAW.

Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator’s place of establishment without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country cannot be waived—in which case those protections prevail.
